Roof Replacement for Central Arkansas Homes

Durable shingle roofs installed by a Malarkey-certified team, often in a single day. Free roof inspections and estimates.

A Roof Built for Arkansas Weather

Your roof protects everything underneath it, and in Central Arkansas, it has a tough job. Spring brings hail and severe thunderstorms. Summer brings intense sun and heat that bake shingles day after day. Fall and winter add wind, falling limbs, and the occasional ice storm. Over time, all of that wears a roof down until it can’t do its job anymore.

Windows & More has been helping Arkansas homeowners protect their homes since 1993, and roofing is one of the services we’re proudest of. Our team is Malarkey certified, so your new roof is installed to manufacturer standards. We work fast without cutting corners. Many of our roof replacements are finished in a single day, and our crews protect your property and clean up thoroughly before they leave.

Signs You May Need a New Roof

Some roof problems are obvious, like a leak dripping into your living room. Others are easy to miss until they cause real damage. Watch for these warning signs:

Our Roof Replacement Process

We follow a careful, proven process on every roof so you know exactly what to expect.

1. Free roof inspection

We inspect your roof, attic, and ventilation, and photograph any damage we find.

2. Clear estimate

You'll get a detailed estimate and an explanation of your shingle and color options.

3. Contract and deposit

Once you're ready, you'll sign a contract and pay a 50% deposit. The balance is due upon installation.

4. Scheduling

Roofing jobs can often be scheduled faster than other projects. We'll give you a date and keep you posted if weather causes changes.

5. Property protection

Before work starts, we protect landscaping, AC units, and other areas around your home.

6. Tear-off and deck inspection

We remove the old roofing down to the decking and inspect it. Any soft or rotten decking is identified and replaced so your new roof has a solid base.

7. Underlayment and flashing

We install underlayment, drip edge, and protective leak barriers in valleys and around penetrations like chimneys, vents, and skylights.

8. Shingle installation

Our crew installs your new shingles and ridge caps according to manufacturer specifications.

9. Ventilation

We make sure your attic has proper intake and exhaust ventilation to extend the life of your roof.

10. Cleanup and final walkthrough

We haul away all debris and run magnetic sweepers to pick up nails. Then we walk the job with you and provide your closeout and warranty paperwork.

Quality Shingles, Certified Installation

We install durable architectural shingles that offer a dimensional, high-end look and stronger wind resistance than old three-tab shingles. Our team is Malarkey certified, which means our installers are trained on proper installation methods for the products we use. Correct installation matters. It’s one of the most important factors in how long a roof lasts and in keeping your manufacturer coverage intact.

During your estimate, ask about impact-resistant shingle options. In hail-prone areas like ours, they offer extra protection, and some insurance companies offer discounts for them. Your consultant can also help you pick a color that fits your home’s style, brick, and siding.

Storm Damage and Insurance Claims

If hail or wind has damaged your roof, you don’t have to navigate the insurance process alone. We’ll inspect your roof, document the damage with photos, and help you understand your claim. We can meet with your adjuster and work alongside your insurance company to make sure the damage is properly accounted for. Our customers regularly tell us how much easier this made a stressful situation.

A Complete Roofing System

A roof is more than shingles. For best results, we look at the whole system, including:

Roofing FAQs

Most residential roof replacements are completed in one day. Larger or steeper roofs, or roofs with significant deck damage, may take longer.

Not necessarily. We'll walk through the plan with you beforehand and do a final walkthrough when the job is done.

We recommend a full tear-off. It lets us inspect and repair the decking and gives your new roof the best chance at a long life.

It depends on your policy and the cause of the damage. Storm damage from hail or wind is often covered. We'll inspect your roof and help you through the claim process.

We watch the forecast closely and only tear off what we can dry in that day. If weather moves in, your home stays protected.
